ELECTRONICS RECYCLING FACT SHEET

Recyclable electronic items may be delivered to the Household Hazardous Waste Management Facility on Leland Ave. in Utica from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday and from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday.

Businesses must set up an appointment prior to delivery and may be charged for material.

Residents can bring the following electronic items for recycling at no charge:

Computers (CPUs)
Laptop computers
Computer monitors
Computer speakers
Computer keyboards
Computer mice
Computer scanners
Computer hardware
Computer printers
All computer cords and cables
Answering machines
Battery chargers
Calculators
Camcorders & video equipment
CD players
Desktop copiers
DVD players
VCR's

Electric fans
Fax machines
Film projectors
Fish locators
GPS devices
Paper shredders
Electronic games (Play Stations, Sega, Nintendo Systems)
Printer inkjet cartridges
Printer toner cartridges
Radios
Record players
Sewing machines
Stereos
Tape players
Telephones & cellular phones
Two way radios
Typewriters & word processors

Television Sets

The following items will not be accepted:


Cash registers
Kitchen appliances
Microwaves
Remote controls
Large copiers
Lamps
