On Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 from 10:00am - 2:00pm, the Authority will be hosting Senator Griffo's Shed the Meds & Documents Shredding event. This event will be held at the Oneida-Herkimer Recycling Center on the Leland Ave extension in North Utica.
Residents of Oneida and Herkimer County will be able to bring up to 3 boxes of confidential papers for shredding, as well as unwanted prescription medications for proper disposal by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (no sharps or needles!).
Please note that the Authority accepts electronics for recycling free of charge, 6 days a week, all year at both our Utica and Rome EcoDrops.
